REGION 5 | Plus (APP) Tryouts

» PLUS (APP) TRYOUTS:

The Plus (APP) Program provides a more competitive environment with play against other regions, and its open to boys and girls in Divisions U14 and U12. Players who make an APP team must be able to travel to away games against regions represented by cities in the Orange County area. The first tryout dates are listed below, and any player interested in being on an APP team should come to this first tryout. The second tryout is by invitation only, based on the outcome of the first tryout.

Players should bring;

• cleats

• shin guards

• soccer ball

• water

The coaches for our APP teams must be Advanced Certified and approved by the region 5 Board. Anyone interested in coaching an APP team should contact Gary Schutt, our Coach Administrator at 714/719-3299.

More information on APP can be obtained at any one of our registrations in April, May and June, but if questions come up after that time please contact Gary Schutt.

ALL PLAYERS TRYING OUT MUST BE REGISTERED WITH REGION 5 PRIOR TO THE TRYOUTS. (registration will be available at the tryouts at the full registration fee of $85)
