AYSO Region 5 Drop Policy
Players that drop from our league may receive a refund per the following guidelines and procedures. Region 5 does not collect the $20 AYSO National Player fee nor the website fee and as a result these fees are non refundable by Region 5:
FALL SEASON
- Any player, who withdraws prior to July 1st, of the year in which the season begins, will result in a full refund of the Registration fee, providing that the player/parent submits a request for a refund by completing the Region 5 Refund Policy & Player Drop Form.
- Any player who withdraws on or after July 1, of the year in which the season begins, and prior to the player draft will result in a refund of the registration fee minus a $50 administrative fee, provided that the player/parent submits a request for a refund by completing the Region 5 Refund Policy & Player Drop Form.
- Any player who withdraws on or after team formation shall not be entitled to a refund. The team formation is usually the last weekend in July and will be posted on the website.
SPRING SEASON
- Any player, who withdraws prior to February 1st, of the year in which the season begins, will result in a full refund of the Registration fee, providing that the player/parent submits a request for a refund by completing the region 5 Refund Policy & Player Drop Form.
- Any player who withdraws on or after February 1st of the year in which the season begins and prior to the date of the first game will result in a refund of the registration fee minus a $35 administrative fee provided that the player/parent submits a request for a refund by completing the Region 5 Refund Policy & Player Drop Form.
- Any player who withdraws on or after March 1 of the year in which the season begins shall not be entitled to a refund
Parent:
The parent/guardian requesting the drop must obtain a Player Drop Form
Treasurer:
The Treasurer will determine the refund amount. It will be either:
- credited to the card on file
- by region check..
