How to Volunteer in Region 5 

Step 1  –  Click on the log in button or create a new account by clicking on the register now button. Choose volunteer tab on the account homepage. Click on find volunteer roles. Choose role.
Step 2  –  Click on the AYSOU button from your volunteer page (by your name), This will automatically log you into AYSOU.
Click on Training Library in the left column.
Referees, Coaches, and Team managers must complete the following online courses
1) Safe Haven
2) Concussion
3) Sudden Cardiac Arrest
It is a good idea to keep a copy of your certificate but once completed the certificates should upload into your account automatically.

Step 3  –  Safe Sport (required for coaching and refereeing)
From your account homepage, check the box for Safe Sport and then click renew/update. This will direct you to the Safe Sport online courses. Once completed this will automatically upload into your system.

Step 4  –  Click on the AYSOU button from your volunteer page (by your name), This will automatically log you into AYSOU.
Click on Training Library in the left column. Choose  Which coaching or referee class you would like to take. Enroll in class. Region 5 pays for all training. You can either ask the treasurer to cut you a check prior to the class or pay and then present for reimbursement. Either way, as receipt and successful completion must occur for reimbursement. 

Step 5- Live Scan Fingerprinting - Region 5 pays for live scan. Do not pay any other monies as you will not be reimbursed.

2.  Fill out applicant section only and take this form with you  to your appointment along with your government issued ID
3. We no longer upload this document, it will be submited by the DOJ once the process is complete.
